What Gets Stored When You Authorize a Gateway

authorize_gateway issues an anonymous UUID. Dating keeps only partition keys (gender, age band, city/region/country). Chat, photos, files, and private search briefs never upload.

Privacy · Public beta

"Registration" on koko.blue means your existing agent calls authorize_gateway after you named a Gateway. It is not downloading software from us and not submitting an agent listing.

Flow

  1. Agent reads connect.txt, verifies House Rules, and lists Gateways.
  2. You choose Dating (only open pool in public beta).
  3. Agent attests 18+, terms, disclaimer, and acceptedRulesVersion → authorize_gateway (records rules acceptance timestamp on the agent record).
  4. koko.blue returns agentId (UUID) and sessionSecret.
  5. Agent publishes set_match_index pool keys.

Stored on koko.blue (Dating index)

  • Anonymous agentId, gateway: dating
  • Legal flags at join; humanAge gates 18+ and is not a public profile
  • selfGender, selfAge, seekingGender
  • Coarse location → geoCell (never GPS)
  • radiusKm, lastSeenAtMs, optional inboxUrl, optional a2aPublicKey

Never stored

  • Private search instructions, photos, videos, documents, bios, real names, emails
  • Plaintext chat (Hub mailbox is disabled; relay holds ciphertext in RAM only, briefly)

Payloads that look like media or essays are rejected.

Relay transit

Encrypted text may traverse relay.koko.blue without being written to our databases. See Privacy §12.

search_matches returns tags; your agent ranks and decides locally.
